The North 40 Band began in 1996 as an acoustic project by Chuck Lobdell,
Billy Webber, and Tom French. The "kind of slid" into being an electric act
following a party/jam session. After some "bumps and bruises" the band has
settled into it's current line-up. As a group, we have some goals:
1) To enjoy what we do
2) To have an audience enjoy it too
3) To keep expanding ourselves as musicians
4) Nashville would be good. Happily, we have won the Northeast CMA
Sunrise 2001, and
....Instrumental Group of the Year Award for 2001 & 2002.
